After 10 years of teaching Mathematics in Secondary Schools I decided to set up my business as a professional Tutor in 2023. At the time, I was the Head of Mathematics in a well regarded Multi Academy Trust with years of experience teaching in numerous institutions across Year 7 - Year 13. I have also worked closely with the Yorkshire and Humber Maths Hub to drive the improvement of Mathematics teaching through my delivery of work groups to teachers from across the region. Over these 10 years of service I have impacted both students results and their love of learning in a positive manner and look forward to continuing to work with people of all ages to get them on to the path to their chosen future.

I’ve always loved teaching but since Covid-19 I have grown passionate in the idea that students need a varied approach to learning and that the standard school led strategy does not always allow a student to reach their full potential . Through my personalised approach, I work with my students in an environment they feel comfortable in to ensure that learning is fun and accessible. Years of experience has ensured that every session is purposeful to the student and that the time is spent focusing on gaps in knowledge and building confidence in these as opposed to covering already secure content.
